Schedule: Monday to Friday or Tuesday to Saturday | 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM
Contract Type: Temp-to-Hire
Pay Rate: Starting at $30/hr (DOE), with potential for higher compensation based on experience and certifications + Production Bonus.
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Automotive Technician to join a well-established and rapidly growing automotive service provider in Pembroke Pines, FL. This role is ideal for professionals with a passion for automotive repair and diagnostics, a strong mechanical foundation, and a commitment to customer satisfaction and safety. Technicians will work with modern diagnostic equipment and service a wide range of vehicle makes and models. Key Responsibilities
Perform full-spectrum diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance on domestic and imported vehicles.
Use computerized diagnostic tools to identify issues in engine performance, suspension, electrical, and HVAC systems.
Conduct safety inspections and ensure all repairs comply with company and manufacturer quality standards.
Document service work accurately using internal systems and communicate clearly with service advisors.
Stay up to date with technical bulletins and participate in ongoing training programs.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in accordance with OSHA and facility policies.
Required Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of verifiable experience as an Automotive Technician (Type A or Master-level preferred).
Deep knowledge of diagnostics, repair procedures, and vehicle systems (engine, suspension, brake, electrical, etc.).
ASE Certification and GM Certification are highly preferred.
EPA 609 Certification (or willingness to obtain) for handling refrigerants and HVAC systems.
Proficiency with diagnostic tools, repair manuals, and computerized service systems.
Excellent attention to detail, time management, and documentation skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a high-volume environment.
Preferred Education & Training
Graduate of an accredited automotive technical or vocational program.
Manufacturer-specific training (GM ASEP, Ford ASSET, Toyota T-TEN, etc.) is a strong plus.
