KAP Motorsports is a new automotive diagnostic, repair and upgrade facility located in Palmetto, FL. With 8 bays, a 4WD Dynojet and all new tire, AC and diagnostic equipment, we strive to bring the best service to domestic, import and exotic customers alike.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Automotive Technician located in Palmetto, FL. The Automotive Technician will be responsible for day-to-day tasks such as vehicle maintenance, repairing and maintaining various vehicle components, and working on occasional aftermarket performance systems. The technician will work to diagnose and resolve automotive issues efficiently and ensure that all work meets industry standards. Using shop management systems, the technician will work with service advisor(s) to best address customer concerns and vehicle inspection results.

Qualifications

• Skills in Automotive Technology/Mechanics
• Experience in Automotive Repair and Maintenance & Repair
• Knowledge of high performance automotive systems
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot automotive issues
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• ASE certification is a plus
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in automotive repair is preferred
• Must have your own tools to work on a variety of vehicles
• Must be able to work on your feet for extended periods, as well as lift objects heavier than 50lbs to waist height regularly
