Join Our Team of Skilled Automotive Technicians!

Pugmire Ford of Cartersville is looking for a dedicated and experienced Automotive Technician to join our service team. If you’re passionate about quality repairs, enjoy working in a fast-paced dealership environment, and take pride in doing things right the first time, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform vehicle services and repairs following Ford and industry-standard procedures
• Complete accurate multi-point inspections and record findings
• Maintain a clean and organized work area; return vehicles in clean condition
• Properly use and maintain both personal tools and shop-provided equipment
• Communicate potential repair issues with Service Advisors, Parts Dept., and Management
• Follow safety procedures and team lifting protocols
• Complete all required Ford and dealership training and certifications
• Stay current on technical bulletins and updates from Ford
• Adhere to dealership policies, procedures, and best practices
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Ford experience preferred
• Must have own tools
• Proficient in diagnostics, powertrain systems, and general vehicle maintenance
• Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems
• Experience in ADAS, diesel repair, and vehicle alignment is a plus
• Ability to read schematics and use diagnostic equipment
• Prior dealership experience strongly preferred
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
