Job description

Enterprise Mobility has an exciting opportunity for an Automotive Technician. The Automotive Technician performs car service, repair, preventive maintenance, in-fleeting service, and vehicle reconditioning service according to company policy and procedures. This position requires the exercise of reasonable judgment and initiative. Performs all responsibilities with a focus on the needs of our customers and in accordance with our Quality Standards.

This position is located at our Orlando Airport Service Center, 8350 Hangar Blvd, Orlando, FL 32827.

The pay range for this position is $27.50 / hour to $32.50 / hour based on experience (Certifications/ASE/OEM). This position is paid hourly, not flat rate - get paid for the hours you work!

Apart from religious observation, interested candidates must be able to work a full-time (40 hour/week) schedule, including weekends, with flexibility. We are currently seeking an Evening shift and can discuss availability further in the interview process.

Responsibilities:

1. Ensure all repairs and preventive maintenance are completed according to manufacturers' specifications and guidelines.
2. Complete required manufacturer's training and perform warranty and recall repairs.
3. Complete ADA installs as required upon completion of training.
4. Maintain vehicle repair history by documenting a Repair Order accurately reflecting steps taken and parts used.
5. Provide safe and reliable vehicles upon completion of repairs and preventive maintenance.
6. Comply with part and inventory tracking procedures.
7. Utilize multiple manufacturers’ websites, software, and diagnostic tools.
8. Process new fleet, LOFR, tires, fuel reclamation, or buy-backs as needed.
9. Maintain the work area in a safe and clean condition.
10. Perform manual labor, such as bending, kneeling, crouching, lifting, standing, and walking for extended periods.
11. Handle objects up to 50 pounds with long periods of standing and walking.
12. Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Two years of mechanical experience in an automotive repair shop servicing current model vehicles.
• OEM training/Certification OR 4 current and valid ASE certifications.
• Understanding of GM, Ford, Toyota, and Chrysler warranty procedures is a plus.
• Valid driver's license with no more than 2 violations or at-fault accidents in the past 3 years.
• No drug or alcohol-related convictions in the past 5 years (DUI/DWI).
• Basic PC skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug test and ongoing random testing.
• At least 18 years old.
• Ownership of standard hand tools for repairs on current vehicles.
• Experience with repair shop testing and service equipment.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Availability to work the evening shift, 2:30 pm - 10:30 pm, including weekends, with flexibility.
