Job summary

Gerald Kia of Naperville is seeking an entry-level Automotive Technician to join our service team. You don’t need formal auto training; we welcome candidates with an interest in automotive careers and a strong work ethic.

You will learn on the job with paid training as you start. Typical duties include oil changes, tire rotations, filter replacements, fluid services, and multi-point inspections for vehicles arriving at our dealership.

Qualifications

• Interest in a career working in automotive.
• Valid Illinois Driver’s License with no more than one ticket in 2 years.
• Good work ethic, attendance, & punctuality.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions or commands.
• The ability to pass a background check.
• Basic knowledge of working on vehicles and using hand tools.

Entry-Level Automotive Technician | Gerald Kia of Naperville

Didyou take automotive classes in high school or attended a technical college for automotive related studies? Then we are interested in talking with you to see if you would be a good fit for our team, even if you have never worked in a shop. Do you have no formal auto training, but you do have relevant work experience at an express oil change facility or other auto shop? Then we want to speak with you.

What we offer:

• Pay range for this position: $19.00-$23.50/hr (Exact compensation may vary based on several factors including, but not limited to, skills, experience, and education)

What you need to have:

• Interest in a career working in automotive
