Job summary

Dobbs Tire & Auto Center in Missouri is seeking an Automotive Technician/Auto Mechanic with ASE certification or substantial hands-on shop experience. The role offers hourly pay from $20 to $45 based on experience, with guaranteed weekly hours and a robust benefits package.

Technicians diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles, perform tire services, alignments, and inspections. A valid driver's license and Missouri inspector eligibility are required, along with strong diagnostic skills and

Qualifications

• ASE certifications OR 5+ years of automotive technician experience in a professional shop.
• Missouri State Inspector License OR ability to obtain one.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Strong diagnostic and mechanical repair skills.
• Experience with tire installation, wheel balancing, steering, suspension, and automotive maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, inspect, repair, and maintain vehicles for safe operation.
• Perform wheel alignments, tire services, brake repairs, inspections, steering/suspension work, oil changes, and general maintenance.
• Perform Missouri state inspections or obtain certification to do so.
• Use diagnostic tools and shop equipment to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and engine issues.
• Maintain accurate service documentation and work collaboratively to keep the shop efficient.
• Provide professional customer service when explaining repair recommendations.

What Our Technicians Do

• Technicians diagnose, inspect, repair, and maintain vehicles to ensure safe and reliable operation.

What We Need
