Job summary

Dobbs Tire & Auto Center in Union, MO is hiring experienced Automotive Technicians to diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles. ASE certification or hands-on shop experience preferred; Missouri State Inspector license or ability to obtain one is required.

This full-time role offers a flag-rate structure with 30 guaranteed hours per week, competitive pay from $20 to $45 per hour, and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with match, and PTO.

Qualifications

• ASE certifications OR 5+ years of automotive technician experience in a professional shop.
• Missouri State Inspector License OR ability to obtain one.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Strong diagnostic and mechanical repair skills.
• Experience with tire installation, wheel balancing, steering, suspension, and automotive maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, inspect, repair, and maintain vehicles to ensure safe and reliable operation.
• Perform wheel alignments, tire services, brake repairs, inspections, steering and suspension work, oil changes, tune-ups, and general maintenance.
• Perform Missouri state inspections or obtain certification to do so.
• Use diagnostic tools and shop equipment to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and engine issues.
• Maintain accurate service documentation for completed work.
• Collaborate with team to keep the shop operating efficiently and safely.
• Provide professional customer service when explaining repair recommendations to customers.

What Our Technicians Do
