Job summary

M&L Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram is seeking an experienced auto technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles in a fast-paced dealership setting.

You will perform repairs per repair orders, run tests with diagnostic tools, and communicate with the Service Advisor regarding additional work and time estimates. A minimum of 2 years in automotive repair is required, along with a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• At least 2 years of experience as an auto technician.
• Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and information.
• Knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to keep cars clean.

Responsibilities

• Performs work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards
• Tests components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnoses, maintains, and repairs vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning
• Communicates directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
• Executes repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
