Job summary

M&L Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in Winston-Salem, NC is seeking an experienced automotive technician. You will perform repairs and maintenance on vehicles, utilizing diagnostic tools and equipment to diagnose issues, and communicate with customers and service advisors regarding repairs and timing.

Qualified candidates will have a High School diploma and at least 2 years of technician experience, strong communication skills, and a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Performs work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards.
• Tests components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
• Diagnoses, maintains, and repairs vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning.
• Communicates with the Service Advisor about additional service needs and provides estimates of repair time.
• Executes repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.

Responsibilities

• Performs work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards
• Tests components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnoses, maintains, and repairs vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning
• Communicates directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
• Executes repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
