We are looking for a skilled Automotive Technician or a graduate of an automotive training program to join our team. As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various vehicles. This is a hands-on position that requires strong technical knowledge and attention to detail.
Duties:
- Perform routine automotive maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements
- Diagnose and repair vehicle issues, such as engine problems, electrical malfunctions, and brake system failures
- Conduct inspections and tests to identify any additional repairs or maintenance needed
- Use diagnostic tools and equipment to accurately diagnose vehicle problems
- Follow repair manuals and schematics to ensure proper repair procedures are followed
- Assemble and disassemble vehicle components as needed for repairs
- Perform vehicle alignments, suspension repairs, and shock/strut replacements
- Keep accurate records of all repairs performed and parts used
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance techniques
- Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment
- Ability to read and interpret repair manuals and schematics
- Skilled in performing oil changes, tire rotations, and other routine maintenance tasks
- Experience with diesel engine repair
- Excellent problem-solving skills to diagnose complex vehicle issues
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality workmanship
- Strong communication skills to explain repairs to customers
