Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist with visual safety and courtesy inspections.

Job description

We are looking for automotive technicians/mechanics who can work independently and collaboratively with peers. Our full-service facility aims to create an environment of success.

Responsibilities

As a Midas automotive technician, you will perform a wide range of diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance, including:

• Diagnostics using state-of-the-art computer systems
• Tire repair and replacement
• Car heating and air conditioning
• Steering and suspension repairs
• Belt and hose replacements
• Radiator and engine cooling system repairs
• Batteries, starting, and charging system repairs
• Brake system repairs
• Muffler and exhaust system services
• Visual safety and courtesy inspections

Qualifications

• Ability to repair vehicles independently and work well in a team
• Track record of high productivity
• Knowledge of safety and environmental standards
• Experience with shop equipment such as lifts, tire changers, alignment machines, and scan tools
• High School Diploma or equivalent; technical degree is a plus
• State-specific auto repair certifications
• Valid driver’s license
• Own tools and equipment; diagnostic tools preferred
• Ability to service both foreign and domestic vehicles
