Responsibilities

• Perform repair work efficiently according to dealership policies
• Test-drive vehicles and use diagnostic tools
• Diagnose and repair vehicle systems including engine, transmission, electrical, suspension, brakes, A/C
• Communicate with Service Advisor about additional services
• Estimate repair times
• Execute warranty repairs per manufacturer specifications

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of Service Technician experience
• Active Virginia State Inspection license
• ASE Certification required
• Qualifications in Diagnostics, Electrical, and Engine Repair
• Own basic tools
• Knowledge of new vehicle technologies
• Team-oriented, hardworking, and ambitious
• Excellent customer service skills
• Basic computer skills
• Positive attitude and customer service mindset
• Ability to learn new technologies and repair procedures
• Operate electronic diagnostic equipment
• High school diploma or GED
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record
