Steven Kia is hiring Automotive Service Technicians at our brand-new Kia facility in Harrisonburg, VA. The role offers $55,000+ annually based on experience and performance, plus a Time-and-a-Half production bonus tied to productivity.

Qualifications

• Previous automotive technician or mechanical repair experience preferred.
• Dealership experience is a plus, but not required.
• Ability to perform maintenance and automotive repairs.
• Basic diagnostic and mechanical knowledge.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Dependable and motivated with a willingness to continue learning.
• Kia, ASE, or other manufacturer certifications are a plus.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and drivability concerns
• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and vehicle repairs
• Complete repair orders accurately and efficiently
• Perform multi-point inspections and identify additional maintenance or repair needs
• Utilize diagnostic equipment and manufacturer repair procedures
• Communicate repair findings with Service Advisors
• Maintain accurate documentation of repairs and services performed
• Follow manufacturer, dealership, and safety procedures
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

We are looking for motivated Automotive Service Technicians to join our Service Department at our brand-new Kia facility.

This opportunity is open to technicians with varying levels of automotive experience who are looking to continue developing their skills and build a long-term career in automotive service.

About the Role

As an Automotive Service Technician, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain customer vehicles while providing quality workmanship and following manufacturer and dealership standards.

You'll work alongside an experienced team of Service Advisors and Technicians in our new, modern facility, with access to the tools, equipment, and manufacturer resources needed to perform your work effectively.

Responsibilities

Compensation

$55,000+ ANNUALLY BASED ON EXPERIENCE & PERFORMANCE

Plus a Time-and-a-Half (1.5X) Production Bonus Based on Productivity

Compensation is based on experience, skill level, certifications, productivity, and performance.
