J.B.A. Chevrolet in Glen Burnie, MD, seeks a dependable Automotive Technician to diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicles in a fast-paced dealership service department.

This role is ideal for technicians who value quality workmanship, meaningful work, and long-term career stability with growth opportunities. You will perform routine maintenance, use diagnostic tools, service engines, brakes, suspensions, and more, test-drive to verify repairs, and collaborate with service advisors.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• General automotive repair and diagnostic knowledge.
• Ability to safely use shop tools and electronic diagnostic equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Prior experience as an automotive technician in a dealership or repair shop.

We are seeking a dependable Automotive Technician to perform vehicle diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs in a fast‑paced dealership service department. What You’ll Do

• Perform routine maintenance and vehicle repairs as outlined on repair orders.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical concerns using electronic diagnostic tools.
• Repair and maintain vehicle systems including but not limited to engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, steering, and air conditioning.

Qualifications

Required

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
• General automotive repair and diagnostic knowledge

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Prior experience as an automotive technician in a dealership or repair shop

Preferred

• ASE certifications or OEM training
• Experience with diagnostics, electrical systems, or other driving concerns
• Willingness to continue training and skill development

Pay & Benefits

Compensation

• $25.00-$50.00 per flat rate hour
• Compensation is based on experience, skills, and certifications and is negotiable.
• Eligible for a monthly bonus based on position and number of RO hours turned
