Job Title: Automotive Technician

Location: On‑Site

Job Type: Full‑Time

Pay: $28-$35/hour (based on experience)

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Automotive Technician to diagnose, service, and repair a variety of vehicles, including passenger cars and heavy‑duty trucks, trailers, and buses. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, technically proficient, and able to perform efficiently in a fast‑paced work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics using advanced tools, electrical systems, and schematics
• Repair and maintain vehicle systems including engines, brakes, suspension, steering, transmission, and electrical components
• Complete routine maintenance (oil changes, tire rotations, fluid services, inspections)
• Interpret technical manuals and ADAS data
• Perform suspension work
• Diagnose and repair brake, hydraulic, exhaust, fuel, ignition, A/C, electrical, and computer systems
• Use shop equipment (diagnostic machines, alignment systems, welding tools, etc.)
• Ensure all work meets safety and quality standards
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work bay
• Communicate effectively with service advisors, teammates, and customers regarding repair status and technical diagnoses
• Participate in ongoing training to stay current with evolving automotive technology

Requirements

• Minimum 3–5 years of automotive and/or diesel mechanic experience
• Strong diagnostic and repair skills across multiple vehicle systems
• Knowledge of heavy‑duty trucks, trailers, and buses is a plus
• Valid driver's license with insurable record
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Willing to complete a pre‑employment drug test
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and work in varying conditions
• ASE certification (A/B/C level) or equivalent experience preferred
• Vocational/Technical degree preferred (or equivalent experience)
• Strong attention to detail
• Team‑oriented with professionalism and strong communication skills
