Qualifications

• Experience as an automotive technician or mechanic, certifications preferred but not required.
• Strong problem-solving skills for diagnosing and repairing vehicle issues.
• Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with modern vehicle technology and repair techniques.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance services, including oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks.
• Diagnose and repair brake, steering, and suspension systems to ensure safety and performance.
• Troubleshoot and fix electrical and electronic issues, including wiring and onboard computer systems.
• Repair or replace transmissions, fuel components, and engine cooling systems as needed.
• Conduct emissions inspections, safety checks, and other state-mandated vehicle examinations.
• Maintain and repair air conditioning systems, radiators, and cooling components.
• Ensure all work is documented accurately with clear, legible reports.
• Keep the workspace clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations.
• Perform test drives when necessary (valid driver’s license required).
• Follow a standardized task checklist to maintain consistency and quality in service.
