Job summary

Smart Toyota of Quad Cities is seeking skilled Service Technicians to diagnose and repair vehicles, test systems, and communicate repair needs with the Service Advisor. Duties include diagnosing malfunctions, performing repairs to repair orders, and conducting warranty work according to manufacturer specifications.

Qualifications

• One year as an automotive technician preferred.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose the cause of malfunctions and perform repair.
• Complete repairs per repair orders efficiently.
• Test-drive vehicles and test components using diagnostic tools.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, A/C.
• Communicate with the Service Advisor about additional services and time estimates.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.

TECHNICIANS WANTED

Service Technician Duties:

• Diagnose the cause of any malfunction and perform repair
• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with the dealership
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
• Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Providing an estimate of the time needed for additional repairs
• Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
