Position Summary

The Automotive Technician plays a key role in our service team, developing skills in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles. Under supervision, you'll learn to handle various automotive systems, perform inspections, assist in repairs, and communicate with customers to ensure high-quality service. This role requires mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and dedication to quality work in a fast-paced environment. It’s an excellent opportunity to build a foundation in automotive repair.

Pay Range: $15.70 - $23.50

Responsibilities
  1. Change oil and perform scheduled maintenance.
  2. Inspect steering, suspension, and brake systems.
  3. Install batteries and check electrical systems.
  4. Perform tire maintenance.
  5. Install parts and road test vehicles.
  6. Obtain or maintain A.S.E. certifications within the first two years, with company-paid testing and bonuses for passing exams.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to drive customer and company vehicles.
  • Basic understanding of automotive maintenance and tire repair, including oil changes, inspections, and tire repairs.
  • Reading, writing, and math skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Two years of automotive repair experience or completion of a related vocational program, or equivalent skills/certifications.
  • A.S.E. certification or similar external qualifications.
