EchoPark Automotive in Charlotte, NC is hiring an Automotive Technician to join our team. You will perform vehicle repair and maintenance to dealer and factory standards, inspecting a wide range of pre-owned vehicles up to 12 years old and ensuring quality service for our guests.

The role requires state certification where applicable, 6 months of auto mechanic experience or auto tech school, owning a tool set, a valid driver’s license, and a high school diploma.

Responsibilities

• Complete tasks such as lubrication, brake and tire work, and alignments.
• Diagnose and repair air conditioning and drivability issues.
• Handle light line work and potential engine/transmission work as needed.

Job Description

EchoPark Automotive is hiring an Automotive Technician to join our team in Charlotte, NC. Our Technicians enjoy guaranteed pay, a very collaborative and casual work environment, very different from a traditional "dog-eat-dog" shop. It's fun, fair, and a great place to work. To excel in this service role, you will need excellent customer service skills, effective communication skills, and attention to detail.

What You’ll Do:

The Automotive Technician is responsible for performing vehicle repair and maintenance work as assigned in accordance with dealer and factory standards. Our technicians inspect and repair a wide range of pre-owned makes and models up to 12 years old.

• 190 Point Vehicle Inspection
• Lube, filter, flushes
• Brake system and tire repair
• Suspension and alignments
• Vehicle Drivability
• Air Conditioning Diagnosis and Repair
• Light Line work to include – Gasket and seal repairs, component replacement, water pumps, and alternators
• Occasional heavy line, engine, and transmission removal and installation, no rebuilds or overhauls

What We’re Looking For:

• Must be state-certified where applicable
• At least 6 months of previous Automotive Mechanic experience, or Auto Tech School certification
• Own a set of tools
• Valid driver’s license and a good driving record
• High school diploma or the equivalent
• Strong work ethic and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to follow directions and willingness to learn
• Respect for teammates and a positive outlook
