• At least 6 months of previous automotive mechanic experience or Auto Tech School certification.
• Own a set of tools.
• Valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
• High school diploma or the equivalent.

• Ability to follow directions and willingness to learn.
• Respect for teammates and a positive outlook.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle repair and maintenance work as assigned per dealer and factory standards.
• Inspect and repair a wide range of pre-owned makes and models up to 12 years old.
• Conduct 190 point vehicle inspections.
• Lube, filter, flushes; brake system and tire repair.
• Handle suspension, alignments, and drivability issues.
• Diagnose and repair A/C; light line work including gasket/seal replacements and components.
• Occasional heavy line, engine, and transmission work; no rebuilds or overhauls.

EchoPark Automotive is hiring an Automotive Technician to join our team in Thornton, CO!Our Technicians enjoy guaranteed pay, a very collaborative and casual work environment, very different from a traditional "dog-eat-dog" shop. It's fun, fair, and a great place to work. To excel in this service role, you will need excellent customer service skills, effective communication skills, and attention to detail.

What You’ll Do:

The Automotive Technician is responsible for performing vehicle repair and maintenance work as assigned in accordance with dealer and factory standards. Our technicians inspect and repair a wide range of pre-owned makes and models up to 12 years old.

• 190 Point Vehicle Inspection
• Lube, filter, flushes
• Brake system and tire repair
• Suspension and alignments
• Vehicle Drivability
• Air Conditioning Diagnosis and Repair
• Light Line work to include – Gasket and seal repairs, component replacement, water pumps, and alternators
• Occasional heavy line, engine, and transmission removal and installation, no rebuilds or overhauls

What We’re Looking For:

• Must be state-certified where applicable
