Job summary

EchoPark Automotive in Cary, NC is seeking an Automotive Technician to contribute to a collaborative, customer-focused service team. You will perform repairs and maintenance on a variety of pre-owned vehicles and complete a 190-point inspection following dealer standards.

Qualifications

• State certification where applicable.
• At least 6 months of automotive experience or Auto Tech School certification.
• Own a set of tools to perform repairs.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Strong work ethic and ability to learn in a fast-paced environment.
• Respect for teammates and a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle repair and maintenance per dealer and factory standards.
• Inspect and repair a wide range of pre-owned makes and models up to 12 years old.
• Complete 190 Point Vehicle Inspection, brake, suspension, and other services.

Job Description

EchoPark Automotive is hiring an Automotive Technician to join our team in Cary, NC. Our technicians enjoy guaranteed pay, very collaborative and casual work environment, very different from a traditional "dog eat dog" shop. It's fun, fair and a great place to work. To excel in this service role, you will need excellent customer service skills, effective communication skills, and attention to detail.

What You’ll Do:

The Automotive Technician is responsible for performing vehicle repair and maintenance work as assigned in accordance with dealer and factory standards. Our technicians inspect and repair a wide range of pre-owned makes and models up to 12 years old.

• 190 Point Vehicle Inspection
• Lube, filter, flushes
• Brake system and tire repair
• Suspension and alignments
• Vehicle Drivability
• Air Conditioning Diagnosis and Repair
• Gasket and Seal Repairs

What We’re Looking For:

• Must be state certified where applicable
• At least 6 months of previous Automotive Mechanic experience, or Auto Tech School certification
• Own a set of tools
• Valid driver’s license and a good driving record
• High school diploma or the equivalent
• Strong work ethic and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to follow directions and willingness to learn
• Respect for teammates and positive outlook
