Principle Hyundai Boerne is seeking an experienced Automotive Technician to diagnose, repair and document issues on customer vehicles in a fast-paced, climate-controlled service facility. The role emphasizes dealership-style expertise, strong communication, and a commitment to quality repairs.

You will perform routine maintenance, complex diagnostics, and repairs while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 2 to 10 years of Hyundai mechanical experience.
• ASE certification required.
• Professional appearance and attitude at all times.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work with little supervision.
• Strong work ethic with sense of urgency.
• Capable of prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
• Able to lift and manipulate heavy objects.
• Willing to work Saturdays and some holidays; 5-day work week including Saturdays.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities of the Technician:

• You will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and correctly documenting any issues and concerns with customer vehicles.
• You will own all tasks related to ongoing maintenance, including oil changes, tire rotations, and alignments- as well as more complex repairs, including electrical diagnostic tests and repairs.
• Your previous automotive technical knowledge will have preferably been obtained at a dealership.
• The ideal candidate will have previous dealership experience.
• You will also be analytical and proactive to troubleshoot any problems that may arise or be of concern in the future.

Qualifications of the Technician:

• 2 to 10 Years of mechanical experience in Hyundai
