Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive vehicle diagnostics using advanced automotive electrical systems and schematics.
• Conduct repairs on engines, transmissions, powertrains, and differentials, including diesel engine repair.
• Service and repair brake systems, including brake repair and replacement of shocks & struts.
• Perform oil changes, tire service, wheel alignments, suspension work, and wheel balancing.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools to execute repairs efficiently and accurately.
• Diagnose issues related to ADAS and perform necessary calibrations.
• Assist in vehicle maintenance tasks such as fluid checks, belt replacements, and system inspections.
• Follow safety procedures diligently during all repair activities.

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Mechanic to join our service team at our locally owned shop in Belle Plaine. All levels are welcome - from oil change and maintenance to experienced techs with a strong focus on diagnosing and repairing a wide range of vehicle issues. This role offers the opportunity to work with a variety of vehicle makes and models and to utilize advanced diagnostic tools and mechanical skills to ensure customer satisfaction and vehicle safety.

Responsibilities (based on experience)

• Perform comprehensive vehicle diagnostics using advanced automotive electrical systems and schematics
• Conduct repairs on engines, transmissions, powertrains, and differentials, including diesel engine repair
• Service and repair brake systems, including brake repair and replacement of shocks & struts
