Job summary

LS Solutions in Ashland, KY is seeking an Entry-Level Automotive Technician to join our team. You will perform multi-point inspections, basic maintenance, and repairs such as oil changes, tire services, and brake work under supervision.

You will diagnose issues, document findings, and communicate with customers and team members while following safety procedures. Opportunities to grow into advanced technical roles and leadership positions are available.

Qualifications

• Must be mechanically inclined with basic shop experience or relevant training.
• Safety-conscious and able to follow written instructions and safety standards.
• Preferred qualifications include ASE certification and brake/alignment skills.

Responsibilities include:

performing multi-point inspections, basic maintenance, and repairs such as oil changes, filter replacements, tire services, brake work, and fluid flushes. Conducting diagnostics, documenting findings, and communicating with team members and customers. Following safety protocols, maintaining a clean workspace, and adhering to repair procedures are essential. Opportunities to grow into advanced technical and leadership roles are available.

Qualifications:

mechanically inclined with 0-2 years of shop experience or relevant training, safety-conscious, coachable, and able to follow written instructions and safety standards. Basic proficiency with shop technology, tools, and a valid driver’s license are required. Preferred qualifications include technical training, ASE certification, and specialized skills like brake or alignment work. Must be 18+ and able to work flexibly.
