Job summary

Dorman Products is seeking a Technical Writer - Automotive for a hybrid role based near Philadelphia, PA, onsite three days per week. You will craft installation instructions, improve content workflows, and collaborate with Product Management and Quality teams to resolve instruction needs and defects.

The role requires 5 years of graphic design/editing experience and a strong automotive background, with proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years in graphic design and editing.
• Strong automotive background or industry experience is essential.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite: InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Lightroom.
• Experience with Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Write technical product installation instructions.
• Evaluate and improve the current product instruction creation process.
• Collaborate with Product Management and Quality teams to troubleshoot instruction needs.
• Develop and evaluate reporting to enhance quantity and quality of instructions.
• Partner with Marketing and On Site Garage teams for instruction development across print, web, and video.
• Create or modify technical content for clear customer understanding.
