Job summary

Universal Technical Institute in Long Beach is seeking an instructor to deliver Mercedes-Benz curriculum at MB Learning & Performance Centers and other OEM locations. You will lead hands-on training, mentor technicians, and develop specialized curricula to help students excel in the industry.

You will collaborate with Mercedes-Benz on curriculum updates, participate in Train-the-Trainer events, and ensure a safe, engaging learning environment while using state-of-the-art equipment and workshop

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED (Required).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills enabling effective connection with technicians/students and staff.
• Organizational planning, prioritization, time management, and deadline-driven adaptability.
• Knowledge of MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Inspire and educate learners in an engaging, inclusive environment focused on Mercedes-Benz learning objectives.
• Lead hands-on training with demonstrations and practical diagnostic and repair activities.
• Develop and deliver curriculum updates in collaboration with OEM Mercedes-Benz and perform Train-the-Trainer activities.
• Mentor students on projects, promoting critical thinking and innovative problem solving.
• Uphold safety standards and OEM policies in all classroom and lab activities.
• Handle administrative duties and adhere to OEM travel guidelines; perform other duties as assigned.
