Job summary

BMW Group in Ontario, CA is seeking a Technical Instructor/Developer to create and maintain technical training curricula for customers across all skill levels. You will collaborate with the development team to shape course content and update materials as products and diagnostics evolve.

Responsibilities include delivering training programs—classroom, e-learning, multimedia—and evaluating effectiveness while improving presentation and technical expertise.

Qualifications

Requires an associate degree or certificate; Bachelor’s in mechanical/electrical engineering ok as substitute.
BMW Master technician or OEM equivalent or ASE Master technician (A1-A8) preferred.
5+ years in automotive technical training or related field if the degree is present; 7+ years otherwise.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain technical training curriculum for customers across user levels and BMW products/services.
Act as a course sponsor within the development team and specify content.
Update courses based on ISPi changes and assess future customer needs.
