Tidewater Tech is hiring to train tomorrow's automotive technicians. The role involves delivering instruction in classroom and lab settings, maintaining safety and organization, and supporting curriculum development.

A 5-day paid instructor training program helps the transition into teaching, with opportunities for full- or part-time schedules. Eligibility includes a high school diploma or GED, 3 years of practical automotive experience, and ASE certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum three (3) years of practical automotive industry experience.
• ASE Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver automotive technology instruction in classroom and lab settings.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and productive learning environment.
• Monitor student attendance, academic progress, and performance; maintain accurate records and submit required reports.
• Support curriculum development, course preparation, equipment maintenance, and student retention initiatives.
• Communicate student concerns, attendance issues, and other matters requiring attention to the Program Coordinator.
• Participate in required training, professional development, and instructor development activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned by school leadership.
