Qualifications

• Must have knowledge of general and/or specialized automotive technology such as fuel injection, contemporary transmissions, emission controls, multiplexing communications, and/or hybrid/EV technology.
• Experience teaching automotive technology is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Instructs students in classroom and shop settings using lectures, demonstrations, and guided practice with industry-standard tools.
• Maintains safety protocols and ensures OSHA compliance in shop activities.
• Prepares course materials including syllabi, demonstrations, videos, and handouts.
• Convenes classes on time and as scheduled.
• Evaluates and records student progress and communicates with students and College timelines.
• Maintains equipment and supplies and ensures security of facilities and instructional materials.
