Job summary

Lincoln Tech in East Windsor is seeking skilled Automotive Technicians to become valued Instructors in our Automotive Technology program. This role offers competitive compensation and the opportunity to shape the next generation of automotive professionals.

Instructors will teach using our blended learning model, maintain a professional classroom, and complete foundational training. No teaching experience required, but a passion for the industry is essential!

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Automotive Technician experience in a relevant field.
• ASE certifications (G1, A6 required within first 3 months).
• EPA 609 certification (required within first 3 months).

Responsibilities

• Teach and provide hands-on training in Automotive Technology.
• Facilitate and effectively deliver accredited course curriculum.
• Support and motivate student growth and professionalism.
• Evaluate and communicate progress with students consistently.

Skills

Automotive Technician experience

• Facilitate and effectively deliver Lincoln Tech accredited course curriculum using our Blended Learning Model
• Support and motivate student growth, professionalism, and accountability through advising and mentoring
• Evaluate and communicate progress with students fairly and consistently
• Teach students about the importance of safety and compliance
• Maintain a professional, visitor‑ready classroom environment
• Complete Lincoln Instructor Foundational Training (LIFT) program
• Prepare students for a successful career in the field of Automotive Technology
