Qualifications
- Bachelor degree with 32 credit hours in vocational-technical area or related field.
- Associates degree plus two years related work experience; or
- Certificate plus three years related work experience; or
- High school diploma plus five years related work experience.
Responsibilities
- Meets and instructs assigned classes.
- Develops a classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Prepares for classes and provides evidence of preparation.
- Maintains records as required by policy and law.
- Maintains open communication with students and parents about progress.
- Tests students, records grades, and reports progress.
- Works with administrators and staff to solve student-related problems.
- Supervises students and instructional staff as needed.
- Assists in selection of books and instructional materials.
- Upholds district policies and safety rules.
