Job summary

Promotive in Windsor Locks, CT is seeking experienced Automotive Technicians at the A Level and high B Level to join a well-established independent repair facility. Earn $30-$60/hour plus production bonuses, weekly pay, paid training, and career development.

Qualifications

• 8–10+ years of automotive repair experience preferred for A-Level candidates.
• 5+ years preferred for high B-Level candidates.
• Strong diagnostic and mechanical repair skills.
• Experience with timing belts, timing chains, head gasket replacement and advanced brake repairs.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and use Mitchell repair information.
• Independent repair shop and aftermarket experience preferred.
• A Level: $40–$60/hour based on experience; A Level earning potential $100,000+ annually.
• Weekly production bonus: 40+ billed hours = +$1.00/hour; 50+ hours = +$3.00/hour; 60+ = +$5.00/hour.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair domestic and import vehicles.
• Perform advanced mechanical repairs including timing belts and head gasket replacement.
• Diagnose EVAP, drivability, electrical, and other complex concerns.
• Interpret wiring diagrams and repair information to diagnose issues.
• Use diagnostic equipment to identify mechanical and electrical concerns.
• Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
• Communicate repair findings with the service team.
• Maintain productivity goals and shop workflow.
