Job summary

SONS Automotive Group in Union City, GA is seeking a Service Technician for our service department. We treat each service customer's needs with care and have a loyal customer base. Service Tech experience is preferred.

Novice or ASE-certified techs alike are welcome to apply. We offer guaranteed paid training along with Medical and Dental Insurance, 401(k), Paid Vacation, and a fair family-run environment. You will diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems and communicate with the Service

Qualifications

• ASE certifications preferred.
• Novice techs encouraged to apply - we will train you.
• Strong automotive background.
• Strong teamwork skills.
• Willing to submit to a drug screen and background check.
• Must have clean and valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership.
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and service equipment.
• Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, A/C, etc.
• Communicate with the Service Advisor to inform customers if additional service is needed and provide time estimates.
• Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.

Responsibilities:

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership

• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment

• Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.

• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs

• Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications

Qualifications:
