Qualifications

• 1–2 years automotive repair experience preferred; entry-level considered.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and interest in vehicle repair.
• Ability to troubleshoot and follow repair procedures.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs.
• Complete oil changes, tire services, brakes, and PM.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical concerns with proper tools and procedures.
• Perform steering, suspension, cooling, drivability work.
• Repair or replace engines, transmissions, and major components as capable.
• Document repairs and recommendations with safety and quality in mind.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle inspections, maintenance services, diagnostics, and repairs.
• Complete oil changes, tire services, brake repairs, and preventative maintenance.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical vehicle concerns using tools, equipment, and service information.
• Perform steering, suspension, cooling system, drivability, and component repairs based on skill level.
• Repair or replace engines, transmissions, and major components as experience allows.
• Accurately document repairs, recommendations, and completed work while following safety and quality standards.

Compensation and Benefits

• Pay range: $15.00 to $38.00 per hour.
• Entry-level technicians start at $15.00 per hour.
• Experienced technician pay up to $38.00 per flag hour based on experience, certifications, education, training, and skill level.
• Temp-to-Hire opportunity.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Perform automotive maintenance, inspections, diagnostics, and repair services.
• Complete tire, brake, oil change, and preventative maintenance work.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical vehicle concerns using proper tools and service procedures.
• Maintain accurate repair documentation and high-quality workmanship.
• 1 to 2 years of automotive repair experience preferred, though entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and interest in vehicle repair and maintenance.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical concerns and follow repair procedures.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a professional service team.
• Reliable attendance, strong work ethic, and commitment to safety.
• Commitment to quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
• Valid driver's license preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Automotive schooling, vocational training, or technical school completion.
• ASE certifications or manufacturer certifications.
• Previous experience in a dealership, service center, repair shop, or tire and maintenance environment.
• Experience with diagnostic equipment and service information systems.
• Experience with brake repair, suspension repair, drivability diagnostics, or major component replacement.
