Position Overview

The Store Manager is responsible for daily leadership and operational management of the store and teammates, aligning with Monro’s vision to be the leading auto and tire center trusted for quality maintenance and repairs.

Compensation

Pay will be based on experience, with additional compensation opportunities.

Responsibilities
  1. Develop sales and technical teammates to deliver a consistent five-star guest experience.
  2. Achieve sales goals through effective planning, product knowledge, and industry understanding.
  3. Introduce tire and service products to maximize sales, guest satisfaction, and loyalty.
  4. Support teammates in establishing a productive sales environment via training and development.
  5. Manage staffing through recruiting, hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
  6. Control expenses related to payroll, store maintenance, supplies, utilities, and other costs.
  7. Perform additional duties as assigned.
Management Responsibilities

The Store Manager oversees all store positions, including technicians and service managers, operating under the District Manager’s guidance.

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 4-6 years of leadership experience in automotive retail or sales environment.
  • Proven ability to manage financial results and control costs.
  • Strong leadership to motivate teams and achieve goals.
Skills & Knowledge
  • Customer-focused mindset with experience in customer-centric environments.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Business acumen with a drive to exceed goals.
  • Basic math skills for calculating figures and percentages.
  • Proactive, able to multitask in a fast-paced setting.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

The role involves working in an automotive shop environment with exposure to noise, weather, chemicals, and physical demands such as lifting up to 50 lbs., standing, and reaching.

Must possess a valid driver’s license and a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report (MVR). Flexibility to work various hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, is required.
