The Store Manager is responsible for daily leadership of the store and teammates, supporting Monro's vision of becoming a trusted leader in automotive maintenance and repairs.

Compensation: Pay based on experience, with additional incentives available.

Essential Functions:
  • Develop sales and technical teammates to deliver a consistent five-star guest experience.
  • Achieve sales goals by developing and implementing sales plans, and maintaining thorough knowledge of services and products.
  • Introduce tire and service products to maximize sales, guest satisfaction, and loyalty.
  • Support teammates in establishing a productive sales environment through training and development.
  • Manage staffing, recruiting, hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, and performance management.
  • Control expenses related to payroll, store maintenance, supplies, utilities, and other costs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Management Responsibility:

Provide daily leadership to all store positions, including General Service Technicians, Technicians, Service Manager, and Assistant Store Manager, under the direction of the District Manager.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 4-6 years of leadership experience in automotive retail/sales environment.
  • Proven ability to manage, drive, and deliver financial results while controlling costs.
  • Ability to motivate and influence teams to meet goals.
Knowledge & Skills:
  • Customer-focused mindset with experience in customer-centric environments.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Business acumen with a drive to exceed goals.
  • Basic math skills for calculating figures and percentages.
  • Proactive, with proficiency in multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to mentor, coach, and develop teammates.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements:
  • Operate in an automotive shop environment with moderate noise, weather exposure, chemicals, odors, dirt, and dust.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and have a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).
  • Flexible hours, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs., and perform tasks involving standing, walking, reaching, bending, and stooping.
