Job summary

Big Brand Tire & Service in California seeks an Automotive Store Manager to lead and develop a high-performing team, while owning guest experience and operational KPIs. You’ll drive sales, manage daily P&L, and ensure OSHA/compliance in a fast-paced automotive environment.

The role emphasizes coaching, scheduling, inventory control, and weekend availability to support peak hours and customer satisfaction. ASE certification or multi-brand experience are nice-to-have.

Qualifications

• 2+ years store or service management in automotive or high-volume retail.
• Proven sales leadership: hits targets, builds pipeline, lifts RO & close rates.
• People leader: hires well, coaches often, retains talent.
• Operational athlete: confident with KPIs, scheduling, inventory, cash controls.
• Customer-first communicator with clear explanations and follow-through.
• Valid driver's license; able to assist with shop flow (lift up to 70 lbs).
• Open availability, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a winning team: recruit, hire, schedule, coach, and performance-manage.
• Own the guest experience: model five-star service; jump in on estimates, approvals, and tough saves.
• Drive sales: execute playbooks, price with confidence, ensure clear recommendations & follow-through.
• Run the P&L: payroll discipline, inventory accuracy, shrink control, budget adherence.
• Protect the house: OSHA/EHS compliance, cleanliness, equipment/vendor coordination.
• Operate with excellence: cash/POS controls, reporting, audits, and policy adherence.
