Compensation potential for this position is 100K+ based on experience, bonus opportunities, sales spiffs, regional contests, and other sales incentives.

Job Description

The Store Manager provides daily leadership to all positions within the store including General Service Technicians, Technicians, Guest Care Specialists, and Assistant Store Manager. Reporting to the District Manager, the Store Manager is responsible for providing day-to-day leadership to the store and teammates, including selecting, coaching, and developing store teammates.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop sales and technical teammates to produce a consistent 5-star Guest experience.
  2. Ensure sales goals are achieved by assisting in the development and implementation of sales plans.
  3. Introduce tire and service products to guests to maximize sales and guest satisfaction.
  4. Support teammates in establishing and maintaining a productive sales environment.
  5. Provide direction and oversight to technicians and assist with services/repairs.
  6. Ensure the store is effectively staffed by managing recruiting, hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management.
  7. Ensure expense control through the management of payroll and other controllable expenses.
  8. Responsible for inventory management to include pulling tires and parts, unloading and stocking inventory.
  9. Audit courtesy inspections performed by teammates.
  10. Ensure store is in excellent condition and maintained to Monro standards.
  11. Schedule guest appointments and assign teammates according to skill level.
  12. Achieve Monro’s sales goals by properly informing and recommending tire and service products.
  13. Attend to all guest needs in areas of sales, service, complaints, and adjustments.
  14. Build guest relationships to maximize customer satisfaction.
  15. Assist teammates in conveying repair and service needs to guests.
  16. Understand and adhere to company policies and procedures, including safety standards.
  17. Maintain technical knowledge and capabilities through timely completion of training courses.
  18. Operate and maintain all equipment in a safe manner.
  19. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  1. High School Diploma or equivalent.
  2. Demonstrated leadership experience in a retail/sales environment.
  3. Proven ability to manage financial results while controlling costs.
  4. Ability to influence and motivate a team.
  5. Ability to problem solve and manage customer service.
  6. Communication skills to effectively communicate with teammates and guests.
  7. Must possess a current valid driver’s license and have a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).
Work Environment & Physical Requirements

This job operates in an automotive shop environment. The job will have exposure to a moderate noise level, chemicals, and dust. Store Managers must be able to:

  1. Work flexible hours, days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  2. Lift, carry, and stock merchandise and supplies up to 50 lbs.
  3. Stand and walk for long periods of time.
  4. Reach overhead and below the knees, including squatting and bending.
