At Midas, we are dedicated to providing quality services to customer vehicles in the areas of inspection, diagnosis, and repair, utilizing the expertise attained through ASE Certifications and/or years of automotive repair experience.

The Midas Store Manager is responsible for business operations and store performance, including safety, efficiencies, and profit/loss accountability. He or she promotes customer satisfaction and retention, as well as growth of existing and new business. The Store Manager oversees operations concerning cost control, inventory management, environmental compliance, and safety. They provide strong leadership to foster a harmonious, collaborative, and productive work culture.

We seek a seasoned manager with an entrepreneurial spirit who will be responsible for operations, financial performance, morale, and growth initiatives. The ideal candidate has a college degree or coursework (preferred), three years of automotive repair business experience, supervisory/management experience, a background in continuous improvement, P&L experience, and excellent interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities
  • Recruit, hire, train, motivate, evaluate, schedule, and coach employees
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, listening and consulting with customers
  • Follow up with customers regarding services requested and estimated completion times
  • Oversee vehicle inspections, make recommendations, build repair orders, and source parts
  • Discuss pricing estimates with customers and promote shop service specials
  • Lead, manage, and train team while aligning with company vision, purpose, core values, and employee creed
  • Oversee sales, accounting, and clerical functions from Service Advisors
  • Oversee technicians' inspections, diagnosing, and repairing domestic, European, and Asian vehicles and light trucks
  • Maintain inventory counts and manage inventory losses
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of the facility, including environmental compliance
  • Manage employee payroll, record keeping, and scheduling
  • Update and submit daily sales reports to Corporate
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years of store or service management experience
  • General automotive knowledge
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Strong POS and internet skills
  • Leadership and team-building abilities
  • Flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays
  • Valid driver's license
