Position Overview
The Store Manager leads daily operations, managing General Service Technicians, Technicians, Guest Care Specialists, and Assistant Managers. Reporting to the District Manager, the role involves team leadership, coaching, sales promotion, inventory management, and ensuring excellent guest experiences. Responsibilities include staffing, expense control, safety compliance, technical proficiency, and customer relationship building.

Responsibilities

1. Develop sales and technical teams to deliver a 5-star guest experience.
2. Achieve sales goals through effective planning, product knowledge, and industry awareness.
3. Promote tire and service products to maximize sales and guest satisfaction.
4. Train and develop teammates in shop operations and guest services.
5. Oversee technicians and assist with services/repairs as needed.
6. Manage staffing: recruiting, hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
7. Control expenses related to payroll, supplies, utilities, and store maintenance.
8. Manage inventory, including pulling tires and parts, and stocking.
9. Audit courtesy inspections and maintain store cleanliness and readiness.
10. Schedule appointments and assign tasks based on skill levels.
11. Meet sales targets by informing and recommending products and promotions.
12. Address guest needs, handle complaints, and foster loyalty.
13. Convey repair and service needs clearly to guests.
14. Adhere to company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
15. Maintain technical knowledge through training and certifications.
16. Operate and maintain equipment safely.
17. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Leadership experience in retail or sales environments.
• Ability to manage financial results and control costs.
• Motivational skills to lead teams toward goals.
• Problem-solving, inventory management, and customer service skills.
• Effective communication with teammates and guests.
• Completion of required training within specified timelines.
• Valid driver’s license and satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).
• Background checks conducted per law; criminal history considered in context.
