Job summary

Monro is seeking an Automotive Assistant Store Manager for Store 996 in Claremont, NH. This full-time, hourly role serves as MOD in peak times and supports operations, guest service, and profitability.

The ideal candidate helps guests understand vehicle issues and solutions while meeting time commitments and quality standards. Responsibilities include scheduling, aiding technicians, inventory oversight, and ensuring store cleanliness and guest readiness.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in retail or automotive service is preferred.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team.
• Strong communication and guest-relations skills.
• Flexibility to work varied hours, weekends, and holidays.
• ASE or state inspection licenses are a plus where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Schedule guest appointments to optimize technician capacity.
• Assist in achieving sales goals through informed recommendations.

• Oversee inventory, tires, and parts; coordinate stocking.
