Job summary

Monro, Inc. is seeking an Automotive Assistant Store Manager at Store 986 in Exeter, NH. This full-time, hourly position serves as MOD when needed and drives customer service, while assisting in daily store operations and profitability goals.

The role emphasizes delivering 5 Star service to guests, effective communication of vehicle issues and solutions, and meeting time commitments and quality standards. ASE certifications and a valid driver’s license with a clean MVR are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of two years retail experience.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• ASE certification and State Inspection License preferred.
• Current valid driver’s license and clean MVR.
• Ability to influence and motivate a team.

Responsibilities

• Schedule guest appointments for efficient technician utilization.
• Assist in achieving sales goals by informing guests about tires and services.
• Maintain store cleanliness and readiness per Monro standards.
• Assist with inventory management and stocking.
• Organize workflow to optimize technician productivity.
• Adhere to safety policies and governmental standards.
• Perform Store Manager functions as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
