Job summary

MFA Petroleum Company is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Missouri to supervise store operations and deliver outstanding customer service, ensuring policies and procedures are followed.

Responsibilities include opening/closing the store, managing daily operations, promoting products, and assisting in financial duties with accuracy and efficiency. The role requires leadership, communication, and a commitment to safety and quality service.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to obtain the state appropriate Motor Vehicle Inspection license within one year of hire.
• Previous experience in retail or automotive sales or service.
• Ability to learn new concepts and use technical materials.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations including averages and percentages.
• Ability to consistently operate a computer and other office productivity machinery.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States of America.

Responsibilities

• Build effective relationships with customers and staff to deliver positive customer experiences.
• Ensure prompt opening and closing of location based on store hours of operation.
• Perform all aspects of store operations including customer service, sales, shop management and office responsibilities.
• Promote sales by explaining benefits of service and products to customers.
• Perform vehicle inspections and prioritize needed products and services with customers and management.
