Job summary

Sheehy Auto Stores is seeking a motivated Staff Accountant to join our team. This program is designed for recent accounting graduates and early-career professionals who aspire to become Automotive Controllers.

You will rotate through multiple dealership accounting offices, gaining hands-on experience in dealership accounting, financial reporting, internal controls, and operational analysis. You will work alongside experienced Controllers and dealership management teams to develop the knowledge

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in accounting.
• Recent grad or up to two years accounting experience.
• Public accounting experience is a plus.
• Proficiency in Excel and Office applications.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel to dealership locations for training.

Responsibilities

• Participate in hands-on training across multiple dealership locations.
• Rotate through dealership accounting offices to gain practical experience.
• Learn financial reporting, internal controls, and operational analysis.
• Work with Controllers and management to develop leadership skills.

Sheehy Auto Stores is seeking a motivated and ambitious Staff Accountant to join our team. This opportunity is designed for recent accounting graduates and early-career professionals who aspire to become highly qualified Automotive Controllers.
Through a dedicated training schedule, you will rotate through multiple dealership accounting offices, gaining hands-on experience in dealership accounting, financial reporting, internal controls, and operational analysis. Working alongside experienced Controllers and dealership management teams, you will develop the knowledge and skills necessary to lead a dealership accounting department.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Recent college graduate or have up to two years of accounting experience.
• Public accounting experience or internship experience is a plus.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.
• Willingness to travel periodically to dealership locations for training.
