Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science or related field.
• 10+ years of software engineering experience in the automotive industry focusing on quality, warranty analysis, or verification & validation.
• 2+ years of software defect detection and prevention methodologies.
• 2+ years of software design reviews to ensure conformance with architectural and quality standards.
• 2+ years of Failure Mode Analysis (FMA) for software systems.
• 2+ years of ISO 26262 Functional Safety implementation and assessments.

Responsibilities

• Lead early defect detection and prevention strategies across software development.
• Define methods and strategies for process improvement to enhance software quality and reliability.
• Conduct software design reviews to ensure compliance with architectural and quality standards.
• Support FMA efforts to proactively identify and mitigate software risks.
