Job summary

Hyundai Motor Company is seeking an engineer within the Advanced Quality Improvement group to coordinate testing and evaluation of trial vehicles and parts related to software development in an automotive manufacturing environment.

You will complete issue investigations and provide feedback for vehicle and controller design improvements, with travel flexibility and potential on-call duties as required by production schedules.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree preferred or equivalent.
• 0–10 years of related experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of software implementation best practices.
• Ability to analyze software data and drive improvements.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and track testing activities for Engineering Order and Model Change with related departments.
• Improve software quality through systems analysis and recommending changes in controller interaction.
• Participate in benchmarking activities of competitor vehicles.
• Evaluate vehicles and new technology through the New Model Process.
