Napleton Automotive Group is seeking an Automotive Technician-Skilled at Napleton KIA of Carmel. You will perform maintenance per dealer and factory standards and help build customer loyalty through trust and reliability.

Qualifications

• Automotive technical training or hands-on experience in vehicle maintenance.
• Experience as a lube tech or technician assistant is preferred.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Complete vehicle inspections and communicate findings to the team.
• Check oil level and maintain proper communication with teammates.
• Ensure correct tire pressure and perform wheel alignments as needed.
• Inspect and refill fluids; replace oil drain plug and filter.
• Lubricate fittings, replace batteries, and service exhaust systems.
• Remove/install brake components and radiators; assist with recalls.
• Keep service center clean and presentable.

Job Responsibilities:

• Complete vehicle inspection
• Check and communicate oil level to other teammates
• Ensure tire pressure for proper inflation
• Perform wheel alignments
• Inspect and refill fluid levels as necessary
• Install a new oil drain plug and a new oil filter
• Clean and lubricate fittings as needed
• Clean and replace batteries
• Replace or repair exhaust system
• Remove and reinstall brake drums and/or brake shoes
• Replace Radiators
• Perform Manufacturer recalls that do not require diagnostic equipment
• Ensure that the service center is clean and presentable

Job Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Automotive technical training or experience as a lube tech, or technician assistant
• Valid in-state driver's license and clean driving record
• Willingness to undergo a background check in accordance with local law/regulations
• 18+ years of age or older to comply with the company driving policy
