Job summary

European Service Center is seeking a Shop Manager in Atlanta to lead one of our local locations, grow with the company, and drive high standards of service and efficiency.

You will oversee operations, mentor technicians, uphold safety, and deliver excellent customer experiences to build loyalty as we expand across Georgia and beyond.

Shop Manager – European Service Center (Atlanta, GA)

$70,000 base salary + commission

European Service Center has been serving European vehicle owners for over four decades, with locations across Georgia and Texas. We're a family-owned business, and that means you're never just a number here. We're expanding over the next several years, and we're looking for a Shop Manager to lead one of our Atlanta locations and grow with us.

What You'll Do:

Shop Operations:

• Assign jobs to technicians based on their skills and experience.
• Prepare and review repair orders for accuracy and completeness on parts, materials, and labor.
• Guide and support technicians and apprentices through diagnosis, providing instruction as needed.
• Appraise incoming repair work.
• Oversee all areas of the service department.
• Keep the shop clean, safe, and organized.
• Support other company goals as directed by ownership.

Customer Service:

• Greet every customer promptly and courteously.
• Resolve customer concerns and complaints fairly and professionally.
• Track comebacks and make sure every issue is corrected to the customer's satisfaction.
• Build customer loyalty and protect our reputation through honest, ethical service.

• Build positive relationships with customers, staff, and ownership.
• Be punctual, flexible, and reliable.
• Stay current on technical training.

Qualifications:

• Experience in an automotive service department (management or service advisor experience preferred).
• Outgoing, friendly personality with excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Ability to negotiate and resolve customer complaints.
• Comfortable with shop management software and general computer use.
• Solid understanding of mechanical and technical terminology.
• Able to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Confident speaking one-on-one or in front of groups.
• High school diploma or GED required; technical program graduate preferred but not required.

Compensation:
