Job summary

Walker Automotive is seeking a Master-Certified Automotive Shop Foreman to lead a team of elite technicians and oversee all shop operations. This hands-on leader will mentor technicians, drive productivity, and uphold our WOW customer experience.

The role is Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM, offering unmatched pay with a potential between $85,000 and $120,000 per year plus a weekly team-productivity bonus.

Qualifications

• Must hold ASE Master Certified status and ASE L1 and Hybrid certifications.
• Must hold Light Duty Diesel Certified.
• Leadership role with high performance expectations; accountability required.

Responsibilities

• Lead by Example: embody mission, professionalism, quality, integrity.
• Technician Oversight: mentor technicians, monitor productivity, enforce policies.
• Drive Productivity: manage job board, reflect current/upcoming tasks.
• Hands-On Work: contribute weekly hours on your own tasks.
• Training and Development: conduct weekly training with technicians.
• Shop Management: ensure regular inspection/maintenance of equipment and shop cleanliness.

We\'re looking for an expert Automotive Shop Foreman to lead our team. This is a critical role for a hands-on leader who can drive productivity, mentor technicians, and champion the quality that defines the Walker Automotive Way. You\'ll be responsible for overseeing all shop operations, leading by example, and ensuring our customers receive the best possible automotive repair experience.

Your Responsibilities

• Lead by Example: Embody our mission through exceptional professionalism, quality, and integrity in all aspects of your work.
• Technician Oversight: Mentor a team of skilled technicians, monitor their productivity, and hold them accountable to all Walker Automotive policies and procedures.
• Drive Productivity: Ensure the team\'s efficiency and manage the job board to reflect current and upcoming tasks.
• Hands-On Work: Personally produce hours per week on your own tasks.
• Training and Development: Hold weekly training meetings with your technicians to provide ongoing education and reinforce company processes.
• Shop Management: Oversee the regular inspection and maintenance of shop equipment and ensure the shop is clean and presentable for customers at all times.

Required Qualifications

This is a role for a top-tier industry expert. The following certifications are non-negotiable:

• ASE Master Certified
• ASE L1 certificate
• ASE Hybrid Certified
• Light Duty Diesel Certified

This is a leadership role with high expectations for performance and accountability. Failure to uphold the requirements of the position may result in demotion or termination.
