Job summary

Hunter’s Garage is seeking an entry-level Shop Assistant to join a busy 8-bay automotive shop. No experience is required, and you will receive ongoing training to grow into roles like Lube Technician or Apprentice Mechanic.

Starting pay is $16.00 per hour for a full-time, Monday–Friday schedule with no weekend shifts. Comprehensive benefits include health, dental, and vision insurance, plus paid vacation and weekly lunch. A strong work ethic and willingness to learn are essential.

Qualifications

• No automotive experience required.
• Dependable, motivated, and detail-oriented.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Keep the shop clean, organized and safe.
• Check in vehicles and perform quality checks.
• Wash and wax vehicles.
• Pickup and deliver parts as needed; replace wiper blades.
• Check and adjust tire pressure; check batteries.

Hunter’s Garage is growing, and we’re looking for a dependable, motivated person who wants an opportunity—not just another job.

This full-time position is a great starting point for someone interested in becoming a Lube Technician, Apprentice Mechanic, or General Service Technician.

No experience is required. Bring a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn—we’ll provide ongoing training and opportunities to advance.

What You’ll Do

As our Shop Assistant, you’ll help keep our 8-bay automotive shop clean, safe, organized, and running smoothly. You’ll also gain valuable hands‑on experience while working alongside experienced automotive professionals.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Cleaning and organizing the shop
• Checking in vehicles and performing quality‑control checks
• Washing and waxing vehicles
• Picking up and delivering parts as needed
• Replacing wiper blades
• Checking and adjusting tire pressure
• Checking batteries
• Replacing cabin and engine air filters
• Assisting the team with other shop duties as needed
